The Bachelder I was searching for was an Oscar Louis Bachelder, a prominent southeastern folk potter from the latter 19th c.- 20th C., his works are fairly valuable. His mark would be a scribed "OLB", he also owned Omar Khayam pottery. Keep your eyes peeled!!

WANTED:: I have a Unique brand treadle sewing machine, it
has a long shuttle Davis bobbin does anyone know anything about it?
Also, Have acquired a 1890's piece of Fostoria, a compote with the
lions head on 4 corner of compote and stand, the knob on tob is the
lions head. Finally, recently acquired a Calif. USA pottery snack
server, it is a deep blue, center bowl and 4 side pieces on a
wooden lazy susan. I was told it is a rare color, does anyone know
anything about any of the pieces, worth, age, etc. have been unable
to find them in books or on internet. I am interested in acquiring
pieces of Homer Laughlin pattern with red & yellow tulips and blue
lines.It is the Virgina rose style, the pieces I have, have either
a red or gold ring around the rim of the plate. Thanks for any
help.
